How many washes...
Effishine deionization systems are engineered to deliver a remarkable volume of pure water, but the actual output depends on the hardness of your incoming water. Our systems use deionization resin to remove minerals and produce water that is virtually 0 PPM. However, the amount of water you can obtain from each system varies with the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of your source water.
For our cartridge-based systems (Effishine GO and Effishine WALL), which use 8 liters of resin, and the high-capacity Effishine PRO TANK, which uses 15 liters of resin, water production is calculated based on both the resin capacity and the water hardness. For example, under a water hardness of 200 PPM, an 8-liter resin system might produce roughly 1,440 liters of deionized water, while a 15-liter system may yield around 2,700 liters.
To put this into perspective, a high-pressure cleaner typically consumes about 7 liters per minute, and a standard car wash takes approximately 3 minutes of rinsing. This means each wash requires roughly 21 liters of water. Average EU water hardness is 200PPM. Based on this:
-
Effishine GO/WALL (8L resin):
1440 liters≈68 washes -
Effishine PRO TANK (15L resin):
2700 liters≈128 washes
Keep in mind that these are estimates. If your water has a higher TDS, the water yield will be lower, and vice versa. This information helps you understand the maintenance cycle and plan resin replacement according to your specific water conditions.
